The Y provides a year-round Food Program for the youth in our community.
1 in 6 children in the United Sates doesn’t know where his or her next meal is coming from. As a leading non-profit for strengthen community by influencing the trajectory of kids’ lives, the Y’s job is, in part, to ensure millions of youth receive the meals they need to be healthy, active, and well-nourished.
The At-Risk Afterschool Meals component of the Child and Adult Food Program (CACFP) offers Federal funding to Afterschool Programs that serve a meal or snack to children in low-income areas.
Summer Feeding Program
- 2 million kids in America struggle with hunger
- 21 million kids rely on free and reduced-price school lunches during the school.
- 6 out of 7 eligible kids do not get summer meals
- Summer Feeding Program helps close this gap.

To file a program complaint of discrimination, complete the USDA Program Discrimination Complaint Form (AD-3027), found online at http://www.ascr.usda.gov/complaint_filing_cust.html and at any USDA office, or write a letter addressed to USDA and provide in the letter all of the information requested in the form. To request a copy of the complaint form, call 866-632-9992. Submit your completed form or letter to USDA by:
