The YMCA of Greater Whittier’s Unlicensed Recreational Enrichment Program is committed to providing a family friendly environment. Its’s about creating a safe space to develop fundamental skills and healthy living. In Enrichment we provide thoughtful recreational activities to help youth gain new knowledge, skills, and abilities while learning fundamentals of teamwork. In our program, we help your child explore their world, work on individual skill development, learn how to work with others, are introduce them to new and different activities, recreational sports, and outdoor play. Enrichment programming provides a safe environment for children to engage in activities that stretch both mind and body. When specialty options that focus on a particular sport or area of interest is availability, there is a specialty program for every child. Utilizing both indoor and outdoor spaces, students will be placed in stable, age-appropriate groups.

Our Affordable for All Scholarship Program is provided on a sliding scale up to 30% off weekly childcare fees. Ask your Program Director for more information.

Your weekly fee includes:

  • Professional and Caring Staff
  • Staff trained to support recreational activities that support a healthy body and mind.
  • Healthy Meals and Snack
