For years, the YMCA of Greater Whittier has been committed to delivering a world-class aquatics experience — one that reflects the same care and community values you’ve come to expect from us. As part of that ongoing commitment, we are proud to partner with Premier Aquatics. 

 

Premier Aquatics brings deep expertise to this collaboration — managing pools since 2011 and operating swim schools for the past six years. They will have full-time, onsite management at our facility, meaning dedicated aquatics professionals here every day focused entirely on your experience. Combined with our own decades of serving families in this community, we believe this partnership creates something truly special. 

 

A New Approach to Swim Lessons 

One of the most exciting changes coming with this partnership is a completely reimagined swim lesson program. Premier uses a perpetual lesson model — lessons meet once a week, billed monthly, with the flexibility to sign up for multiple days per week if your schedule calls for it. No more rigid session sign-ups or losing your spot. It’s designed to fit real family life. 

 

Swim team will now have three groups: Bronze, Silver and Gold to be determined by ability and guided by age. Practice will remain housed out of the East Whittier Family Center Monday-Thursday.
