Zumba is a dance fitness program that originated in Colombia in the 1990s. It utilizes dance and aerobic elements set to Latin and other types of music while incorporating routines from various dance styles, such as salsa, merengue, reggaeton, and mambo. The movements are intended to be easy to follow so that people of all fitness levels can participate.  

Zumba can provide a fun, full-body workout that helps people get in shape and stay active. Certified instructors typically teach Zumba in group fitness classes, but home workout programs are also available. Let’s look at a few of the benefits of Zumba classes.
